::The Unknown::

The Unknown

Psychedelic dreams haunt
damp corridors of
unknown.

I am broke, repaying interest
of smiles, borrowed
from destiny.

Reflections claw
solitute -
my only solace.

"Once upon a time" ended abruply.
Heart became the Unknown,
when? I don't remember.

[Thursday Poet's Rally]::Listen to the sighs!!!::

Written for  Jingle's Thursday Poet's Rally

Listen to the Sighs!!!

Beauty,
ethereal,
maimed by cancerous dust
lurking behind a shadow of
incessant greed,blind to howls of nature.
Endangered by our folly, deep gash
bedecks its lovely face,
wilting ageless
beauty.

beckons
mellowed voices,
buried by grinding teeth
of metallic saws, beheading
glorious elements of graceful life,
clawed by selfish desires, still
with every dying hope
whimpering sighs
beckons.

Form :: Rictameter
Rictameter is a scheme similar to Cinquain. Starting your first line with a two syllable word, you then consecutively increase the number of syllables per line by two. i.e. 2, 4, 6, 8, 10 Then down again, 8, 6, 4, 2 Making the final line the same two syllable word you began with.

::Memory Lane::

::Memory Lane::

Tiny puddles
paper boats
laughter echoed, drenched by evening drizzles
warm blankets, delicacies, candy laced fingers
chasing rainbow
trapped       in
soap    bubbles

Bruised   knees
ruffled   tresses
watched butterflies flying by,and wondered
if   it  envied    my   childish    carefreeness
distant     images
slowly      flicker
rusted memories

long   forgotten
summer dreams
shimmering from memory lane, beckons me
reverberates ,  chorus  of  nostalgic  songs
past   -   present
slowly gravitates
invincible    time.

Form - Trinet
The Trinet, created by zion, is a form with these specifications:
Line 1 - 2 words
Line 2 - 2 words
Line 3 - 6 words
Line 4 - 6 words
Line 5 - 2 words
Line 6 - 2 words
Line 7 - 2 words
Repeat this pattern 2 more times, if centered correctly it looks like three crosses.
