::Another dreamless Night::

Silent sultry night
-charcoal gray-
wisp of remembrance
fluttered along the
timeline, demarking
crisp memories of mine
and ours,

dreams engrossed
in a dance of
melancholia,
surging along
with the rise of a
familiar loneliness.

Hope trickles down,under a
dreamless blanket,
as another ash-strewn
midnight, awaits
sepia colored
dawn.

  7. You clearly captured the feeling of melancholia. I like the idea of a sepia dawn.

  15. Rajakshmi, this is lovely and so well captures the sense of meloncholia ... are we allowed that anymore? ... the sultry night, the grey, the sepia, the aches. Well done.
