Minute Poetry - Migration

It amazes me how birds fly thousand of miles during migration season, crossing oceans and continents. Here a Minute Poetry for A to Z Challenge

Across meadows and ocean blue,
away they flew,
singing old songs,
of home they long

Zephyr ruffles their tired wings,
lofty cloud clings,
soaring up high,
cerulean sky

Arctic awaits birdy galore,
icy white shores ,
fluffy delight,
marvelous sight.

The Minute Poem is rhyming verse form consisting of 12 lines of 60 syllables written in strict iambic meter. The poem is formatted into 3 stanzas of 8,4,4,4; 8,4,4,4; 8,4,4,4 syllables. The rhyme scheme is as follows: aabb, ccdd, eeff
