Delightfully crafted,
unwinding in layers
of subconscious
And then,
Brutally snatched,
lost in hollow,
of daunting past.

A Jig saw puzzle,
though missing
pieces few ,
but Brother,
don't you worry
we can always
paint some new.

Dying Nation

Laced in sugar coated promises,
their acidic intentions,
shred your skin,
and then a balm of
crispy green leaves
is pitifully handed,
as if that's all your worth
a bundle of paper!!

honesty their slave,
buried in dungeons deep,
dance of democracy
lightens their colorful evenings
shedding off,
whatever that's left of,
withering hopeful future.

**My take on the ever growing claws of corruption.

life in other worlds,
expanse of wide galaxies,
answer a mystery.

::Cold Marble Floor::

The cold marble floor,
is incredibly stubborn honey,
clutched to
-distant memories-
And the kitchen ,
drenched in aroma of
- cinnamon rolls.-

Believe me darling,
the balcony is haunted,
twilights cruelly cast
shadows of silence,
on your tea stained sweatshirt.

Staring into the ,
-monochrome void-
our lonely backyard longs for
dreams hidden on,
the dark side of,
eclipsed moon.

With a crumbled photograph,
Clasped against my bosom,
I sleep to a starless night
- on the-
cold marble floor.

::Nobody's Child::

Her chapped palms smell of
-ungrateful jasmine-
roughened by shrewd plays of world.
And in the creases of
- youthful forehead-

sleeps an orphaned childhood, old

among distasteful leering,
ineffectual rags of
-modesty cries-
unfortunate beauty trapped among
pawn broker and hawker alike

-Nobody’s Child -
gazes  high up , at the
    S ,
elegant unreachable stairs
winding beyond clouds yonder.

S L O W L Y sighing,
At the dreams hidden, on the dark side of
half bitten moon.

::The Last Year::

Tiny circles of silver ashes,
decked her wings ,
as she orbed around
trampled remnants,

smoke filled milieu,
beckoned her,
among eerie copper leaves,
desperately she searched
for her summer bloom,
with lively purple petals.

awaiting her arrival,
soaked in lonely moonlit sighs,
it faded into the dark.

::Nightly Tale::

Summer bloom,
soaked in grey moonlit gloom,
among sighs of eerie copper sky.

Slowly rises dawn, sweeping off darkness thereby,
splashing infectious smiles weaving purple reply,

dew drops await in lingering veil,
whispering in detail,
nightly tale.

emerald blades,
waving across the
wild meadows, zephyr
shower happiness among
ambling cattle with tiny bells,
tinkling in delightful rhapsody
of life, enjoying beauty, till it lasts.

overwhelming nature’s wrath
helplessly we watch.

Nature is as delicate as a blossom and as ferocious as typhoon.

away from jungle

::Beyond Shadows::

Beyond shadows, stealthily plying on woods of darkest shade,
Resonates an enigmatic secrecy of an old folklore,
there lies a land of shimmer, of colors so absurdly wild,
stars light up the staircase while moon blinds the night,

firmament captures mild earthly reflection ,
imprinting across horizon for ocean to gaze in awe
and on distant moor echoes electrifying laughter,
as warm effervescence dissolve a winter borne ripple

They say such world exist though veiled from heart of stone
Where fairies sprinkle joy and dreams smile to life
My child, your untainted eyes can see it glimmer bright
Where love still holds innocence and greed says good-bye.

Went for a long night drive from Chennai to Pondicherry in my new car. Though we were tired and sleepy, it was an amazing ride. The road did looked creepy at night, but the morning looked just as beautiful. Watched sunrise at the Rock beach in Pondicherry ... even after sleeping just for two hours, we felt fresh and lively :)
An amazing time I had and this photograph is a memoir of those moments.

Time just flies away when you are with that special person :)

Draped in silver shimmers,
unceasingly it captures reflection
cascading down a tangerine sky,

::Still, Beat as one::

Oh my dear!! we are miles apart,
still beat as one, our little hearts,

Yearning eyes and tears I swipe,
it's 3 am, let's chat in Skype,
I could see you smile, bright and wide,
though the world is dark, on this side,

Slowly rises the orange sun,
Morning shift, I gotta run,
give me a call, when dusk falls there,
till then, my heart will be intensive care.
